Booking & hours
What are Original Walker's Barbershop's hours?
Tuesday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 8 AM to 3 PM. Closed Sunday and Monday. Adrian Benitez takes Monday appointments only, for $15 extra per service.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours. To skip the wait, book a time with your barber on this site or join the online waitlist before you head over. Vagaro remains a fallback.
How do I book an appointment?
Book on this site: pick a service, pick your barber, pick a time. You can also call (512) 953-9505. Vagaro at vagaro.com/rwmwz5 stays available as a fallback until the shop has moved its client list.
What is the no-show policy?
Missed appointments without notice may be charged up to 50% of the booked service. Appointments before or after regular hours require full payment upfront.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are sold online through the shop's Vagaro page and can be used for any service.
Can I choose my barber?
Yes. When you book on this site you choose your barber, or pick first available. Each barber has a profile on this site so you can find the right fit first.
Prices
How much is a haircut at Original Walker's?
A haircut is $45 and includes straight razor detailing and the edge up. Haircut + beard trim is $60, a senior cut (65+) is $25, and kids' cuts are $45.
Is there a senior discount?
Yes. The senior haircut for clients 65 and up is $25.
Do you do hot towel straight razor shaves?
Yes. Hot towel face shaves and head shaves are $55 each and take about 45 minutes, with hot towels, hot lather, a straight razor and conditioning creams.
What is El Presidente?
El Presidente is the shop's all-inclusive gentleman's grooming experience: $130 for about 80 minutes in the chair. Call the shop for the full list of what's included.
Is the edge up included with a haircut?
Yes. The edge up (line up) is included with every haircut. On its own it's $25.
What payment do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, debit cards and cash. Vagaro also offers Affirm pay-over-time at online checkout for larger services.

Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes. Kids' haircuts are $45 and the shop is kid-friendly. Several barbers are parents and cut kids' hair every week, including fades and designs.
Do your barbers cut all hair types?
Yes. Curly, coily, wavy, straight, thick and fine hair are all cut here every day. Adrian Benitez's bio says it plainly: any style, any texture.
How long does a haircut take?
Plan on about 45 minutes for a haircut, an hour for a haircut and beard trim, and 15 minutes for an edge up.

Where is Original Walker's Barbershop?
Original Walker's Barbershop is at 12412 Limerick Ave, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78758, on Parmer Lane in North Austin. Look for the red BARBERSHOP sign over the glass storefront. Free parking is right outside.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking right outside the shop. Spots are limited, and a full lot doesn't mean the chairs are full.

Yes. Original Walker's is owned by master barber Raymond Walker and is listed by the Greater Austin Black Chamber, Black Rolodex and Black Life ATX.
Are any of the barbers veterans?
Yes. Adrian Benitez and Reese Rivera are both U.S. Marine Corps veterans.
Has Original Walker's won any awards?
